The brief for Case Study 2:-

The client is a large multi-national manufacturing firm. They needed an independent evaluation of the two major CAD systems they used because Senior Management wanted to consolidate and just use one system.

An extensive 'side by side' comparison was carried out with both pieces of software and a recommendation was put forward. Comparisons were carried in the following fields:-

- Ease of use

- Legacy data

- Software stability

- File Size

- Data management
